Few Poems: Worth your time! (J . A. Carney & Charles Bukowski)

Why you should do a little every day?

  Little drops of water
Little gains of sand
Make the mighty ocean
And the beauteous land.

Little deeds of kindness
Little words of love
Make our earth an Eden
Like the heavens above.

And the little moments
Humble though they be
Make the mighty ages
Of eternity.

- Mrs. J. A. Carney

“If you're going to try, go all the way. Otherwise, don't even start. This could mean losing girlfriends, wives, relatives and maybe even your mind. It could mean not eating for three or four days. It could mean freezing on a park bench. It could mean jail. It could mean derision. It could mean mockery--isolation. Isolation is the gift. All the others are a test of your endurance, of how much you really want to do it. And, you'll do it, despite rejection and the worst odds. And it will be better than anything else you can imagine. If you're going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It's the only good fight there is."

Finally I graduated from San Jose State University!

It was a great feeling to pass the milestone.

Excerpts from Dr A P J Kalam sir's speech :)

What is the one action which will make you great? Every one of you has a page in the world. What is that page? How do you make that page which is going to be referred by the prosperity.

There is a great need to give a vision to your ambition;
What I will be remembered for?

(Each one of you should ask the question)

If you find an answer: It will drive you for the rest of your life because that is the dream/plan you dreamt for yourself.
Notes: Please, get a vision and purpose to your life.

I learned,  every youth want be unique but the world around you is doing its best, day and night to make you everybody else (mediocre) :(

Everybody else is convenient at the first glance but not satisfying in the long vision. The challenge, therefore, my young friends is that “you have to fight very hard which any human being can ever imagine and  fight until you arrive at your destined place”.

That is, the unique you!
Getting the unique you is the biggest battle.

The battle means you have to have four unique things:
  1. Set the Goal
  2. Acquire the knowledge continuously
  3. Hard work with devotion
  4. Perseverance
When there is righteousness in the heart
There is beauty in the character
when there is beauty in the character
There is harmony in the home
When there harmony in the home
There is an order in the nation
When there order in the nation
There is Peace in the world

Become Leader:
A Leader must have a vision
A Leader must be able to travel into an “unexplored” path.
A leader must be able to manage success and most importantly the failures.

I climbed and climbed where is the peak my Lord
I ploughed and ploughed where is the knowledge treasure my lord
I sailed and sailed where is the island of peace my lord

Almighty bless my nation with Vision and Sweat and Resulting into happiness :)

Left India and Just in San Jose!

It was very hectic and stressful to leave mother land. May be, because you got to leave your parents, relatives, cousins and friends! Even though, you find the other lawn is more greener, you would always miss the place where you had it all. Infact, I had the best moments to share with my oldest friends and some recent friends as well :P

2013 Review

This time I have decided to write a very honest review on  2013!

1. I have realized life is a 'problem solving' quick game, where we need to find solutions at every stage. In my case, there have been a lot of failures and some success. So, its apparent and real-time experience by itself. Post 2013 mid, I have come to a conclusion that, none is competition or contemporary in this universal game. Its just that our own perception or  may be inborn co-gentile thought process. So, I stopped being self-obsessed and started embrace every one.

P.S: Now, I believe in myself and I also suggest to believe in yourself, and your own talent. It always shun a kind of insecurity and adds the best quality to your persona!

This is the best scene from October Sky!

2. I came to know and understood very early in my career that nothing in this world is easy in itself. One 'ought to' work hard to his\her ability to achieve it. No matter what, it is not really easy to get, especially good relationships, great job, may be 'the best university', six pack abs (Well,I'm not the great fan of this, but certainly I see most of you are!) or photography (Again, I'm not a monkey with DSLR or so)

P.S: Work is worship!

3. About friends and friendship!

I certainly felt, for most of them around me, it is very easy to make or break friendships. So, I firmly decided to lead life in my own stride, in the sense, not to rely upon on anyone around me to share my baggage! And also, I felt problems of mine could only 'solved' by my own instincts and 'working' towards it with a pure conviction. In addition, out of my experience, I certainly faced this:

"some people were very close at some point in time; they might be an acquiescence in today's time zone. I'd rather find it very different experience at this point in age of mine."

In-fact, after a long thought, I realized, as and when we progress with our age, priorities of life changes accordingly!

P.S: Like any other things in life, people also come at a particular time in your life. Only you got live with yourself till you 'upheaval' one last breath! So, friends and all is just a perk in this world :) It is better to learn an art to live with yourself :)

4. In a way, I always neglected and 'taken for granted' my parents, teachers, friends, or any one as that sort. This year, I firmly got a good lesson about life without them. I have evolved as person, to know the real meaning of 'maturity'. I used and hurt people at a very fast rate. Now, I feel I should not talk much or be funny to my loved ones :P. I asked sorry and apologized to many and as well made fine peace treaty !

P.S: Love everyone but don't be overly possessive! Live and  let live!

5. I have been in the research business. It is not a corporate world so to say, it is mostly driven by passionated people. Here, you either find a very serious monotonous geeks or just someone who is 'good for nothing'. Especially, I felt I'd rather like to work in a mixed environment where there is a glimpse of  both research and commercial software development! Over the year, I went through a number of research papers and technical reports. I certainly felt, a lot of technical papers are just 'for-sake-off' stuffs. It is quite sad that even in the best universities this is happening! I must also confess, apart from all these negatives, I also found 'extremely' talented people and their research work.

One such lab I really liked: LABROSA and One of the best research company who amazed me by their work: FXPAL

P.S: Hard-core research is not my cup of tea. I like to work in an environment where there is a perfect blend of both research and 'commercial' software development.

6. Entire year was bit hectic in nature, I was applying for various universities. It was tough because I had to  raise funds, plan etc. I leaned alot in this entire application process.

7. Last but not least, I have started enjoying finest performances 'on screen'. I no longer enjoy bad acting, irritating screen play, or any thing as that sort. Now, I'd rather like to see some of the best performances on screen. Last year I saw some old movies I really appreciated their talent to live in someone's shoes and portray honest performance.

2012-2013-2014: I watched some old movies namely
1. karate Kid
2. Kahani and
3. Lucia (the only latest movie I watched)

So hoping my 2014 is  much more exciting and  learning experience in itself !
Can't Wait to update my old bucket-list and write new one :)

P.S: I wrote this within 3hrs. There might be some serious grammatical errors!
Again, Thanks for reading it :P
